Delta Science Module Oceans Complete Kit is great for students to compare water to land, salt water to fresh water, oceans to seas and the Atlantic to the Pacific ocean. Water density is measured with hydrometers, ocean depth data is used to create a 3-D model of the ocean floor and the ocean's rise and fall is measured with assembled tidal dial. Several ocean phenomena like saltiness, wave action and currents are investigated by students getting their hands wet. To study an assortment of mollusks and other creatures of the intertidal zone students model adaptive features of fish and marine mammals and will use sea specimens.
